New feature!
Yesterday, a realization hit me square in the face: I’m graduating in two months. Or rather, courses end in two months, followed by a final project presentation in early January and a delayed graduation ceremony in February 2013. I also realized that MyLife readers will only get a glimpse of the last term of my program if I don’t do anything about it. Honestly, fourth term is comparatively uneventful–no practicums, no field trips, just a lot of self-directed studying and procrastination-fruitage reaping. So to help everyone fully experience the positive hecticness in the earlier terms, I will be starting a new feature called ”Highlights in Hindsight”. Each feature entry will include two to three special events/projects in first, second or third term.
But really, I can’t believe how fast my post-secondary life has cruised by. It was only 15 months ago that I left the halls of high school and wandered into BCIT, an almost perfect simulation of the real world. So this new feature is also a trip down memory lane for me!
